Ricardo
Valdivieso

Executive with more than 15 years of experience leading organizations, designing international trade strategies, and strengthening business ties between Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. I currently serve as General Manager of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce in Peru (CAEP), where I promote the competitiveness of member companies, manage strategic alliances, and represent the institution at a binational and international level.

Previously, I held the position of Commercial Attaché of Ecuador for Peru and Bolivia, leading trade and investment promotion initiatives, developing expansion plans in strategic sectors, and consolidating relationships with key clients and partners in the region.

My career also includes executive experience in the private sector as General Manager of RUNA Exportadora del Perú, where I directed international projects financed by the IDB/MIF, as well as public sector roles at the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador, coordinating multilateral funds and cooperation agreements with organizations such as the World Bank, IDB, UNDP, and FAO.

I hold a solid academic background that combines business management and international policy:

MBA candidate at the Universidad del Pacífico (Lima, Peru).

Specialization in Law and Economics and in Human Development from FLACSO (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

With extensive experience in strategic leadership, international negotiation, trade data analysis, and project management in international cooperation, my purpose is to connect markets, generate business opportunities, and build sustainable bridges between companies and countries, providing a strategic, innovative, and results-oriented vision.
